Steven Read and Jodi Ohlsen Read established Shepherd’s Way Farms in Minnesota with a small flock of dairy sheep in 1994. They've grown to be one of the largest sheep dairy flocks in North America.
Jodi makes Shepherd's Hope, a unique mild, fresh cheese with a gentle citrus note, by hand in small batches. A 2012 ACS award winner, Shepherd’s Hope is exceptional with a crisp cider and a fresh baguette or in a tomato basil salad.
