          When Kosrof DerOhanessian immigrated to the US in 1925 from Armenia, he didn’t have much more than the clothes on his back. With much determination and support from his family, he transformed the tradition of manufacturing exceptional all natural Armenian String Cheese in America.  By using the highest quality whole-milk cow curd, The Sun-Ni Cheese Company produces the best Armenian String Cheese on this side of the Atlantic. Each piece of Sun-Ni String Cheese is still being braided by hand. The Sun-Ni name is derived from Kosrof’s two daughters Sunny and Nina who joined the venture in 1971.

          Nationwide Shipping

          We offer National Shipping during checkout on our website. Our Shipping policy applies to Shipping orders only and not Local Delivery.

          Your order will ship via FedEx Two Day or FedEx Ground. Perishable items including chocolate in the warmer months are sent with ice packs.

          Online shipping orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Currently there is a flat rate fee of $25 for all shipping orders. Cheese Club ship for free. If a gift basket is included in your order, your entire order will ship for free if the items fit in one box.

          All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Brooklyn, NY. We ship to every state in the U.S. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes. Please contact mailorder@bklynlarder.com for international shipping options and rates.
