Back Home Beer

Back Home Beer is a first-generation and woman-owned beer company in Brooklyn, New York. They are focused on sharing a little bit of life “back home” with you. Using ingredients like Persian blue salt, barberries and sun-dried black limes – all distinctive to the region they are representing.

Sumac Gose - Pouring a soft cloudy pink, this gose was brewed with close to 1lb of tart cherries per gallon. The cured sumac was sourced from a single farm in Gaziantep, Turkey and adds tasting notes of sour cherry, salt & vinegar and sunny acidity. Brewed with Persian blue salt, the end result is a tart, bright and refreshing gose – the perfect anytime beer. 4.6% ABV

Persian Blue Lager - A classic lager, brewed with just the right amount of blue salt from the city of Semnan, Iran. A homage to grandpa, who loved his beer with a pinch of salt. It’s everything a lager should be – crisp, refreshing and full of flavor. Easy drinking for any day of the week. 4.9% ABV

Back Home Beer produces beer inspired and influenced by the delicious flavors of the Middle East – the birthplace of beer. The founder, Zahra, was born to Iranian immigrants who relocated to the states during the revolution. Zahra heard countless stories about her grandfather making wine and fermenting beer deep in the cellar at their home in Shiraz, Iran.
